ELV Isolated Surge Diverters
Novaris IDD2 diverters provide surge protection for isolated AC and DC power feeds. The IDD2 provides both common and transverse mode protection with earth leakage current in the microamp range. The IDD2 range was previously labelled SDD2.
All Mode Protection
Protection is provided for all combinations of lines (L-L, L-E).
LED Display
The IDD2 LED display indicates power status and thermal overload.
Passive Alarm
The IDD2 features a passive alarm with a normally closed connection.
Safe Metal Enclosure
Novaris power protection products are housed in safe, all metal enclosures. In the event of a prolonged overvoltage they will not catch ×re or explode.
No Leakage Current
The earth reference for the product is isolated using a gas discharge tube. This means even in the event of a short circuit failure within the device, no current will pass to earth.
