FLA Field Lightning Arrestor
The Novaris RLP has been designed to protect the primary side of the transformer in an air×eld runway lighting circuit. It is housed in a weather proof IP67 enclosure and features FAA standard plugs on each end to allow for easy installation and replacement. It is connected in series to provide high level of protection from lightning transients.
Versatility
The RLP can be used on any air×eld circuit (6.6 A from 4 kW to 30 kW and 20 A from 15 kW to 70 kW)
Distributed Protection
The RLP can be inserted at various points in the 5 kV air×eld primary series circuit to provide additional lightning protection.

They incorporate internal thermal safety disconnects, ensuring safe disconnection in the event of the unit reaching its end of life, and allowing the solar system to remain operational, visual indication and alarm contacts for condition monitoring.
